From other forum Ikavalu mentioned he is nearly ready to be back, even if he is over optimistic I’d take Rd 10 considering I believed he was done for 90% of the season.
If I’m taking a bet my money would be on Miller staying, only leaving if we strengthen the squad by doing so and that’s not looking likely.

Miller is gone, no chance he stays with a 3 year deal on the cards. We're trying to get someone in return but if that doesn't eventuate so be it

Could be he is gone but also would of been very awkward being asked 24/7 if he was going by everyone, club may have just given him a pass, Talakai wasn’t there either but he has also missed these type of events in the past, think it’s to much for the quiet guy.

Agree on Miller. Talakai was there towards the end mate. Was standing quietly over by himself near the jumping castle. Had a bit of a line up.

Miller was in the training shots.

Cannot see a spot for him or ika, good back ups.

I do not mind if he goes to the knights, behind many here, would get a run there.

As much as I’d like to keep Miller for depth he’s got WK and now Dykes in front of him so likely to play more for the Jets than us. Considering the fact that he’s switched over at a later age you can’t begrudge him a shot at a regular spot and a 3 year deal. We’re not stupid so I’d imagine that a player swap would involve a 3rd club considering the cupboard is pretty bare at the Knights. If not he should sit it out here....f**k just letting him go if there’s nothing coming back our way.

Letting him go ,might make the club more attractive for potential depth signings if the players know the club wont just hang on to them to stop a rival with better opportunities ,when their opportunities at sharks are becoming less. In saying that Its good to see club looking to get some compensation, as it was Fitzgibbon and sharks , gave him opportunity in first place.

And if Fitzy doesn't play Trindall off the bench (fingers crossed) then our spine for the Jets will likely be

Dykes
Panthers guy we signed, can't be bothered googling his name
Trindal
Berrell

So even for the Jets I'm not sure he should be picked above any of the others.

Dykes - He needs to be no 1 if he's our future fullback or next man up
Panthers guy - Needs to develop if he's our potential Moylan replacement
Trindall - needs the game time to work on his confidence and game in general if he's going to be next man up in the halves
Berrell - Miller was never going to play hooker so just typing for the sake of it now
