Why bother getting worked up over Plum? Sure he's decent but we hardly need another back-rower. Had we signed him we'd all be rolling our eyes and moaning "oh great, ANOTHER back-rower, well done supercoach". I'd rather we rolled that $75k or whatever Plum signed for into the rest of our kitty and target a prop.

We have two genuine, experience props for next year in Gibbs & Galloway. Two!! Payten plays more as a back-rower these days, Skando hasn't re-signed and we've just shipped out Laurie (who was also more a back-rower and was hardly experienced anyway). Two freaking props and you're crying over us NOT signing a fringe first-grade back-rower? Give it a rest.

What have we got rid of, a prop/back rower, a fullback, a winger and a centre.

Where have we always struggled. Defence. It was just an option. He was on the cheap and would be handy for depth imo. No one was suggesting we should chase him hard, not even myself. One post about it is not showing massive interest.
