Illness doubts over cricketer Clarke

Illness threatens to rob Australia of batsman Michael Clarke for Saturday's final day-night cricket match against New Zealand at Jade Stadium.

Clarke made a sparkling 82 not out in Australia's two-run win in game two on Wednesday night, but has since suffered a bout of gastro and vomiting, and physiotherapist Errol Alcott could not say if the 24-year-old will play.

"We'll just have to wait and see how he pulls up," Alcott said.

This would mean Johnson will definitely play in the last match. White should take Hussey's number 7 position. And if needed we can bowl him.
