Just thought I'd run it by you guy's first before I announce it to all and sundry on my social media, text my friends and family etc, and perhaps see if I get a few weird reactions from you lot...
So anyway, here it goes
I actually enjoyed the AFL Grand Final today, it was/is an event kinda like the Melbourne Cup, everyone was cheering and drinking and BBQ-ing at venues backyards and pubs and clubs throughout Awwstraslia. People can identify with it because it is an event, shared by like minded people and it was a good day had by all... But I actually enjoyed the game as well (Here is where the gay thing kicks in) it was a great contest and had a few good hits etc, And I think that next year (just flirting with the idea mind you) I might enter a tipping comp and pretend that I know shit about the sport.
See where I'm going with this?
f**k me swingin' our dopey farks that run our game have sold us down the shit shute.. We know it, they know it and AFL is the winner!
Tomorrow I'm going to have dinner early and kick back and watch the Roogbeh LLLlleegon channel nine by myself and reflect on the weekend that was and laugh at how stupid and in the corperate pocket our sport now lies.
