I like both LO and CS as these suitably built football grounds put you close to the action, unlike homebush where you are that far from the play you always seem to be looking at the big screen to see what has happened, when its to that point it is just easier to watch it on the TV.

No other professional sport in the world would host games at Leichhardt Oval.

As much as I love the place and have many great memories there, that doesn't mean we should be playing games there in 2015.

Cant wait until they move the low drawing away teams like the Titans, Cowboys and Raiders to Homebush...

We will see how 7,000 rattles around there on a rainy Friday night....

Still better then 5000 at a wet Leichardt or Campbelltown. Especially as we have to pay at those grounds but get money even if we have 7k at ANZ.

Who needs it to be away teams the last 2 games at Leichardt Oval drew
v Roosters who are based a few kms up the road- 5297
v Sharks not far away - 5112

Love LO with a passion, but our team needs its own quality ground in Sydney's South West that they play out of every second week. The three home ground thing just dosnt work for me

That can't be right. Moses said in the article that it packs out every time we play there .

I basically agree. I love the oval as well but when its time to move on we should move on.

Yeah ok . We get 100k .. then what ? We bore the shit out of the supporters , we provide a crappy boring experience for new people and kids . We ignore our heart lands .. but im sure those thousands watching on tv will grow the club.
As far as sponsors go , it's a myth they want a big ground .

I can't think that Stadium Australia will continue to pay $100k a game when the team has no other options left to play anywhere else...

That's true, but the club can't afford to haemorrhage money to continue to support these small venues. Leichhardt and Campbelltown need to come to the party and work out a way forward. Mayer has said Campbelltown council has been agreeable in this respect.
