In absentia?

Notice the absence of the Brian SMith Lovers Association after yesterday's abortion?

Where is Parra Peat, MITS, Go Parra and HJ? We have seen Strider, comically baggin Smith 'bashers' but agreeing with them at the same time.

Where is HJ? Hiding in a wheelie win in Berala? Waiting with a thermos outside Katies for the big blouse sale? Chattoing to Carlotta about how to wear those awful high heels? Or performing his usual task of being Brian Smith's personal beday?

Amid rumours of Hindy leaving, Cayless openly arguing with Smith, Killer staying put, and Smith being shown the door, their silence is absolutely deafening.

So what happened yesterday? Was it all injuries? PLayers STILL (after 3 years) not following Smiths foolproof and guaranteed-of-sucess gameplans? Or are you out celebrating? Rejoicing that Smith and Fitzgerald are still employed (knowing that unemployment for them both would be enough to induce manic depression in you all.

Well? When you emerge from your Smith-perfumed love nest, will you emerge to praise him endlessly, and denounce us as being merely "negative"?

Come on Smith disiples. Mount the rearguard action. Bag us all and tell us that Smith is actually still the best coach ever! Tell us how WRONG we are!!!!

I was at Parramatta Leagues Club, then I came home to read the comments on the Board and bang, the Board was down,

I even tried to read what had happened at 3:00am this morning when I couldn't sleep. Still the Board was absent.

What happened yesterday, Parramatta put in their best 50 minutes of the Season against the Storm and we were still in the game to that point. But after that well I don't know. It wasn't the best football I have ever seen, but the first 50 minutes had promise. If you don't think it did, that’s your right and your opinion.

I think the Smith lovers have been punished enough.

We all need to grieve in peace.

Their best 50 minutes? Huh??????

The only people where were pleased with that were friggin Melbourne! If that pleases you then you must really prefer us losing.

Care to omment on your thoughts re Smith on that performance?

I think Brian Summed up my feelings in the Post Match Press Conference.

Our halves and hookers were on fire at times and had brain explosions at other times.

All the running across felid doesn’t please me and hasn't since day one, we need to players like Hindmarsh, Widders and others to be running onto lines so as they can have the ball passed to them, and when it did happen dykes held onto the pill.

I can't say I was pleased with the game; I was pleased that things seem to be improving, even if the score line didn't show it. I will be happy once we get a win and are inside the top 4. But I will be pleased if I see improvement every week.

Agreed, I thought that was the best 50 minutes of the season.

And I truly thought we were going to win, even after that disallowed try to wagon.

However, what happened after the Storm got away to that 14 point lead was diabolical.

That's what my biggest worry is! I would like to think that our best 50 minutes would be us doing to Melbourne what Melbourne did to us...put the cleaners through them, gap teams by 30 points, like Steve Wuagh says "when they give you a sniff, go in for the kill and don't let go".

We not only can't do that but we can't win games at home that we should be winning.

GOD HELP US WHEN WE PLAY THE ROOSTERS!!!

If that was the best 50 minutes of the season then I should stop supporting Parra and go watch Souths play. We had wingers making hitups, we gave away stupid penalty after penalty, there were dumb dumb errors, last tackle options were disgraceful. I think Parramatta's performance was terrible. We should have won that match but we blew it by poor defensive decisions.

Misty you are without doubt a total joke.....to come on here after our team had such a disheartening loss and sprout out soooo much abuse with such enthusiasm is just wrong....I am convinced that you gain more pleasure from a loss than a win so that you can come on here to attack the club, coach and those of us that support the coach.

If our team played with the enthusiasm you boast in BASHING our club from pillar to post in an attempt to rid the club of the coach, we'd win by 50 every week.

Is it a case of 'do as I say, not as I do' with you......countless times in recent weeks you have come out with the "play the ball, not the man" line, yet you do nothing of the sort yourself....maybe you thought I was comical yesterday by posting it over and over in response to your usual personal attacks - but I really couldn't be bothered with your predicatable performance after a disappointing loss.

Didn't think it was comical, just rather boring and childish.

If Parra played with the enthusiasm that you bag everyone for not loving Smith as you do, we'd be undefeatable. I'm equally convinced that you love Smith more than you care about Parra, because you just don't seem to notice the predicament the club is in. All you worry about is baging those who DO worry about it.

I note that you have failed to tell us why Smith should be devoid of criticism this week. Just like I notice you failed to acknowledge the support we all gave him after the interview last week. The conclusion to be drawn from your actions? You are here merely top have a go at anyone who bags Smith, and have no interest/capacity to discuss other issues.

Err, HELLO. Notice that I'm not on my Pat Malone here? So what you are saying is that people who want Parra to make the coaching changes necessary to make us a wining side are NOT true Parra fans? That's just about do me!!!!

Misty if you really need someone to blame I would be starting with Lyon!!
MITS love your work!!
Keep positive chief I know I will. I am putting yesterday's poor 2nd half down to playing frustrated. Clarke gave the Storm too many chances and got us frustrated, and the disallowed try to Wagon in the 2nd half was the killer blow. The 2 "take a dive and let the video have a look penalties" were disgraceful and should be reviewed similar to the storms grapple tackle tactics of last year.

The True Parra supporters will not take any notice of the hidious rumours which come round time and time again after a loss and will stick by their team AND THEIR CLUB always.

Remember: You have to sit through the hard times to REALLY appreciate the GOOD!!

I stik behind my team and club always, Freak, that's why I'm so keen for them to do better. If you reckon that was our best 50 minutes, as MITS is so rapt about, then you have problems. Missed tackles marred it horribly, and so did the kick offs.

And to blame Lyon on the defeat = utterly stupid. :? :?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and shouldn't be bagged for it. Even if we lose every game from this point on by 100 points and someone believes that Smith is NOT to blame, they are entitled to that without fear of persecution from a MODERATOR.

People are also entitled to believe that Smith is to blame and shouldn't be persecuted for the either.

The first 50 minutes had only one kick off problem, it also had a great kick off thanks to the Scott Hill.

Missed Tackles are a problem, just look at this chart.

Player Tackles Missed % Missed
Wade McKinnon 2 4 200%
Matthew Petersen 3 1 33%
Junior Langi 14 1 7%
Luke Burt 21 4 19%
Eric Grothe 3 2 67%
Daniel Wagon 39 6 15%
Chris Thorman 21 0 0%
Justin Tsoulos 25 0 0%
John morris 27 1 4%
Michael Vella 28 1 4%
Nathan Hindmarsh 38 2 5%
Craig Stapleton 31 1 3%
Dean Widders 27 0 0%
Adam Dykes 12 1 8%
Chris Armit 11 1 9%
Adam Peek 19 1 5%
Fuifui Moimoi 6 2 33%

Missed tackles are hurting us, especially from the backs. The Centre looks solid, it is on the fringes that defence is bad, but then again what is the saying, Why do wingers score more tries, because the have wingers defending against them. Is our defence Brian Smiths fault, No, is it his responsibility to improve, yes.

I think Killer was a massive loss! and made a hell of a difference, without him and fresh we lost 2 attacking options which we can't replace.

How I see it, as long as Smith is there you, I or anyone else have no choice but to back him mainly because there are no other choices to make [unless your Lyon or avenger] thats not to say we shouldn't scream and carry on if we need to!! I guess there's no shortage of that.

Just on a side note, Rapt is a very strong word, I said I was pleased with the 50 minutes, as they showed some spirit and skill, if I was Rapt, I would be telling you to go suck eggs because everything you have been saying for the last 2 years has been proven wrong.

Clearly I am not rapt.

Last week when I relayed what I had heard about Hindmarsh you threatened to "come and get me" - Your words not mine, to which I took great offence.

Now I'm in even greater shock as here you are, you compromising low life, using the Hindmarsh rumour as part of your opening statement.
Your ethics are totally opposite to those I would appoint to someone who carries the title "Moderator"

You have either stuffed up very badly, or are a complete and utter knob.

I never said that. I never even replied to the friggin thread. I'd love to see you prove your words.

Get your facts straight before you start slanging shit next time - fool.

So moderators are fair game for abuse and these precious darlings are not? What planet are you from?

A few weeks ago whilst on holiday with my family, I was accused of 'hiding' because we won. This is a return serve.

All last year I was bagged for my reasoning that Smith was past it, and should leave. For that I was told many times that I was not a parra supporter, and I even copped a death threat. And, according to you, because I am a moderator, I cannot return serve?

I think your attack is peronal, because in the "Where are the groupies" thread, Jake the Snake asks exactly the same thing. have you said the same thing to him? Have you complained to a moderator or admin about that post? No. have you reported it? No.

People are also entitled to believe that Smith is to blame and shouldn't be persecuted for the either.

I look forward to you having a similar go to them, because you are a fair and balanced person and not a dingbat. Correct????

Wasn't he offered (Ian) a two year deal here and a two year deal with an option of a third by Canberra? Stranger things have happened but if Nath leaves then The Worm had better hide cos I'll be going hunting and it won't be for Hindmarshes...... I'm not fussed if he is just the messenger!

You referring to this post The Worm?

I should have put some smilies in it if you couldn't find the jest in it.... ;-)
