I agree. I think we need a mongrel back rower/prop, hooker and an X factor half (good luck with that Sharks). By mongrel I want a confrontational, hard arsed, lunatic. Someone other teams are looking at. I don't think AFB is a mongrel. He's a metre eating worker who is a threat due to his size and workrate.

Not sure the side is ever at full strength. By that I mean even if the best 17 are picked there's always that
doubt that several are going into games unfit, unhealthy or both. That's probably true for all clubs but others seem to cope better with that or have better depth to cover.

Maybe too many enablers. Possibly too many self enabling.
I mentioned a few weeks ago, get a lunatic.
And I said Horsburgh, it appears Ricky would let him go now

Zero consequences and they know. Not getting dropped (or at least they know it will be a token week at best), and not getting shopped for under performing.
I agree and Ronaldo he should get a week at Jets, but he won't there will be no repercussions, it will be glossed over by coaching, the Facebook fans, and podcasts

Will depend on other games

I have the Sharks going L,W,L,W,L

Leaves them perhaps 5th vs the Dolphins but that's come from a lot of guess work on the ladder predictor

yep that’s what I had. We only win our remaining home games with a top 4 play off against manly in the last round.. (we all know how that’ll end).. and then had the dragons getting in just ahead of the dolphins

Fitz seems to say the same thing every presser - pleased with the effort blah blah blah. Some will say that he will let the team know what he thinks behind closed doors, but nothing is changing.

Makes me think he is actually pleased with the results which is scary.

He’s obviously very level-headed, which is great, but McInnes giving away that there was no ‘half-time revving’ was quite disappointing…

Or he just doesn’t want to publicly call out the team or individuals and leave it in house.

After 3 years as coach he never gives much away

Nothing is going to change there. And for me I prefer it that way. No need to have a rant

I prefer it the Bellamy way, especially at the last quarter of the season.

Rockets are needed and need to be done promptly

I don’t mind either/or.. but Fitzgibbon seems fairly stubborn and when one way doesn’t seem to be working, maybe it’s time to try the other

There are rockets and then there are rockets.
I see nothing is gained by carrying on like Ricky but Bellamy level of measurement is better.
A fine line.
I’d like to see more from him, but it ain’t him. Like father like son?
