We play an outdated style of football which falls squarely on the coach. And it looks worse now that the players are that far past it they can't do the bare basics like stick in the tackle, put kick pressure on and hold the ball.

I am still trying to comprehend the last two games. However I go back to the win vs storm. How most teams this year are beatable. I reckon Raiders are the favs. This squad should do them and based on the storm game can.

We never seem to have anything like that coming into grade, it's always (with the greatest respect) the Hiroti's, Billy Burns etc a safe and unspectacular option to do a job for a few weeks but not any sort of long term fix.

Attending the North Sydney version of the beer footy fest (way better at Henson, but that’s just me) yesterday - I ran into a couple of Sharks fans proudly wearing their jerseys.
Not a care in the world about the loss on Saturday night and shaking their heads at my negative take on it and all things current.
They wandered off with a final dig ‘see you in the semi finals mate’
Age in their 20s, both male and female and it was about 130pm - so they weren’t drunk with idiot power.
Like a lot of things in society today, I don’t understand or do not compute.
I used to fear about the future for a lot of things - now as a 50 something, I look forward to seeing how things play out.
