Mediocrity is the fans at the game no passion.
Visiting teams should be abused from kick off to full time, our crowd don't try to intimidate, they are soft.
We should be the benchmark
I think this way out of line. I do not feel this way I do not agree.
I used to take my two boys to Sharks away games 15 years ago then I stopped.
Abused and jostled at a West Tigers match.
Had beer thrown at me when celebrating a match winning try at a Bulldogs game.
Intimidated and pushed at entry to a Dragons game , difficult situation with my two boys and two of their friends. Sorted by security.
lm not difficult Im just there for the football. I mean jeez I was there with young kids.
17 years season seat ( ET upper) ticket and membership. Never seen anything like what I have experienced at away games ever happen at Shark Park.

Saw a guy abuse and physically intimidate a pregnant woman.

Happened to be two stains fans, but happened at shark Park.

The good old days back when your grandfathers were young blokes you should of witnessed the fun and games that would happen on the Hill at the SCG.

So many stories I could tell.

Wild days back then.

There was one time I was sitting about halfway up the hill close to the Sheridan Stand. I was but a snotty nosed very young teenager. Back in the day around kickoff for the main game the ignorant bastards would congregate on the walkway and watch from there.

Their location forced those already sitting on the hill to all gradually stand to see the game.

This particular day blokes were standing up about a depth of two metres back from and because of the bastards that were standing on the footpath.

Someone just behind where we were sitting produced something like a wooden tomato stake and let it fly into the back of a bloke who had been forced to stand. He threw it about 10 metres, It was a full on blow.

Anyhow the bloke turned around and yelled "what prick threw that" About 30 people said "He did" pointing to the prick that threw it. Well the recipient made a bee line straight to him as the crowd gave him space and we all witnessed the offender get piss and pick handles belted out of him and a bit more.

All the time the crowd just cheered the victor on.

Now think about it. Who would take a tomato stake to the bloody footy.

Frenzy.

There was a fair bit abuse in May 2006 when the Bulldogs and Sharks fans had to be segregated at Shark Park.
