Its funny while You'll Never Walk Alone is ingrained in most peoples head for some reason i remember Gerry and the Pacemakers more for Ferry Across the Mersey and that was the song that came straight to my head when i heard of Gerry's death this morning.

Former Bond girl and Charlies Angel Tanya Roberts has passed away aged 65, her death is said not to be covid related.

Its funny while You'll Never Walk Alone is ingrained in most peoples head for some reason i remember Gerry and the Pacemakers more for Ferry Across the Mersey and that was the song that came straight to my head when i heard of Gerry's death this morning.

I always get their other songs confused with other Brit bands like Hermans Hermits.

A view to a kill

The actress collapsed while out walking her dogs on Dec. 24, and was admitted to Cedar-Sinar Hospital in Los Angeles. She died on Sunday her longtime friend and rep Mike Pingel told The Hollywood Reporter. It was not COVID-19 related, no cause of death has been given but Roberts was not ill in the days leading up to her death.

Marion Ramsey aka Officer Hooks in the Police Academy series has sadly passed away aged 73.

The soft spoken Hooks was in six PA films. I must say, these remain a guilty pleasure from my childhood. Some of the innuendo went way over my head as a kid. And sure, dated and an 80s relic but still some fun to be had...Sgt Harris lol.

Wow really had no idea she had passed. I was only reading about the making of the Police Academy films the other day, apparently Marion Ramsey was not in the last PA film (?), not her choice, they simply informed her that she was not required.

The late great Bubba Smith apparently told the powers-that-be that he did not want to be in the film if she was not written back in, alas they both did not appear.
