Such a larger than life personality who i remember fondly growing up. RIP Maggie.

First thing I watched when I got home from school.

I posted a clip of of him in the favourite TV themes last Saturday. To be honest i actually thought he had died because i watched an article from ch 10 years ago where he was interviewed with other cast members and he wasn't well then.
Side night, when i was renting at Surry Hills sometime between 1986-89 Edith Bliss who was one of the presenters on the show lived in the same apartment block, would see her quite often and chatted with her a few times, she was lovely, she passed away in 2012.

I missed this when it happened and I was watching The Straight Story the other day with my mother and jumped on IMDB to check someone from the cast and saw he had passed. Truly a unique and talented director.
