That one was Paul Stanley. There was an Eric Carr version released after died though iirc.
Yeah, but hang on Socky, Ace did the guitaring and back up vocals.

And point blank those chords are tight, rich but airy. “Svelte” might be the expression I need.

Formidable production for its day.

The days when people wrote songs and played music.

And ‘shandi’ did better here than anywhere else by a long margin.

Gripping lyrics in places.

But sure, Paul did a great job (as per usual):

Ace’s cover of Do Ya f**king blisters too.

I was actually devastated hearing this today. Just really sad. A huge piece of my youth was Ace who was always my favourite. Had comics, posters and his toys even if as a little kid I didn’t know all the songs. NEW YORK GROOVE is a beauty too.

Only KISS member to have a Billboard top ten Album and it wasn’t his KISS one either.

Bugger me.
I saw him at Perth Arena when he was the opening act for Alice Cooper in October 2017.
Not really being into Kiss, I didn't know too many of the songs he played, but I thought he went alright.

Even not being a Kiss fan, this is still jolted me a little. RIP Ace.

Didn't even realise Ace did a cover of the classic ELO song.

Ace and Alice.Would have been one helluva concert.
If it's the Alice Cooper concert I'm thinking of, we also had a surprise when Bob Geldof joined Alice on-stage for 'School's Out'. He must have been in Perth for some reason, was backstage, and was called out to join him. I think the whole crowd was like me and thought 'who is this older fella walking out on stage?'. Then an audible wave swept over the audience as the penny simultaneously dropped and almost everyone turned to the person next to them and stated "That's Bob Geldof!"

But yeah, it was an awesome gig. I've never had a bad time at an Alice Cooper concert.

Back on topic, I just saw Limp Bizkit bassist Sam Rivers passed away this morning. He was 48.

Not gonna lie, I've not heard of him specifically before, but 48 is way too young, regardless of who you are.
