End of over 58 (18 runs) India 314/0 (trail by 365 runs)
Naved-ul-Hasan 13-0-86-0 (1w 1nb) - College End
V Sehwag 200* (182b 38x4 1x6) R Dravid 90* (181b 13x4)

57.6 Naved-ul-Hasan to Dravid, no run, full and straight, played back
down the pitch
57.5 Naved-ul-Hasan to Dravid, no run, short of a length and on the
stumps, easily ducked under
57.4 Naved-ul-Hasan to Sehwag, one run, short and a bit of width, Sehwag
cuts uppishly and the ball almost carries to the third-man
fielder. That brings up the second fastest double-century in the
history of Test cricket
57.4 Naved-ul-Hasan to Sehwag, (noball) FOUR, this one is through cover,
what a beauty! Sehwag gets into perfect position and plays a
copybook coverdrive to race to 199, fourth consecutive boundary!
57.3 Naved-ul-Hasan to Sehwag, FOUR, short and wide, catch it is the
call, it's nowhere near a fielder, another boundary, Sehwag goes
to 195
57.2 Naved-ul-Hasan to Sehwag, FOUR, the bowler comes round the stumps,
changing the angle, the result is the same, crashed inside out
through cover!
57.1 Naved-ul-Hasan to Sehwag, FOUR, this one is carved through third-
man to bring up the Indian 300

Yep, second fastest double century (balls faced), only behind Nathan Astle's effort in 2002.

Man thats class. When is the next time Australia goes to India?

haha

Allan Border, M Waugh were bagging the crap out of the wicket
saying sides over there are so afraid to lose so they make featherbeds
Mark Waugh asked if they are playing with tennis balls

Aust go to India in 2010

Dravid is picking up the pace now. He's doing his job with nothing to play for.

Sehwag on the other hand is a huge chance to break the world record. 217* with plenty of time. 184 more to go. Can he do it? He'll never get a better chance.

I tell ya what
Sewag 236* must be a chance for the 400 mark to be broken

India are 0/389

Cant see Dravid making a sporting declaration

To be fair, a lot of pitches today are like concrete in that the ball never actually deviates from the pitch. That's fine as long as they have a bit of pace and bounce, which concrete pitches do. It's the combination of no deviation + slowness that leads to results like this (the tennis ball effect, as Mark Waugh said.)

oh yeah the match is a huge joke, I agree

I guess playing India these days, they have to assure their market is looked after by guaranteeing the game is played for 5 days

I hope we dont go back to the good ole days of seeing more draws than results in test cricket
