He was a reasonably up-tempo batsmen at u/19 levels but in his approach since debuting in test cricket has been to nudge and nurdle. He'll develop a better array of shots as he gets more comfortable at this level. Although he doesn't have the finesse of Bravo or Barath, he has easily the best temperament of any of the youngsters.
It's how he played in the WI domestic 4 day comp last year as well. The kid will only get better and better as he gets older and he doesn't play any other form of cricket at this stage so that will also benefit him in the longer format.
