They are going to get punished in my opinion. Their pack is soooo going to be exhausted, Rose can play 15 minutes straight, Lahrs is coming back from injury and will struggle with minutes, thaiday will put in some quality minutes as usual, idris will struggle playing alot of minutes in the pack, bird will be the same as thaiday with some quality minutes. Bench is the killer, Bowen & Prince won't help the forwards. Thurston & Sandow or Barba can't go into them. Fafita won't be able to play alot of minutes, Paterson isn't known for it either.

Yeh of cause he should of been, I cop alot of crap because i rate him highly, he is going to be a top 5 fullback in no time. People buy into the few games he had a nightmare at the back, which the media blew up along with that people forget the fact it was his first year at the back.

I rate Bowen and think if injury didn't shaft him for those years he'd of been a top fullback, however he is still good and looked like getting back to his best, however Barba was the leading try scorer in a team that missed the 8. Imagine him working off Thurston. Enough said.

Pretty good side. Probably the best they've ever had.

Good forward pack, and a reasonable bench for a change which is where they usually get let down.

An all QLD backline will also help with combinations IMO.

Now if only we could convince the NRL to stop throwing ridiculously dumb rules into this game to make it more "entertaining".... (the one where we guarantee the 2 best players for each side gets sin binned is particularly geniused)

I like the look of the side, but i think Bowen should have been picked at fullback and Barba on the bench. I mean for one there's the Thurston/Bowen combination and then you have Barba's impact off the bench. I think the pack is pretty decent, the backline is insane. Should be a good match to see

This will basically be a Forwards vs. Backs match.

Nothing the All Stars bring in the backs will be able to match the Indigenous team, regardless of Bowen or Barba at FB (should be the first though, imo).
The indegenous team has a decent 2nd row, but lacks sorely in the props and hooker dept.
Maybe they'll do it for Artie, but I can't see that backline getting much ball with this forward pack.
