info on release date for aus guys

i am so happy i called jnc computers at liverpool today which is were i have my pre oder of this beast of a game and was told to come in after 2 oclock next thursday to pick up my copy so it looks like the 11th is the release date in aus aswell but i then called eb out of curiosity and they said the 12th suk shit to all u eb customers lol i hope u all get this game as early as possible

by the way thats great news about the game i have my pre order at eb but if it comes out on the 11th at JNC i will be getting it there instead. I have pre orded from JNC before with games like wwe:smackdown and GTA:Vice City and both games i got a day or 2 early then other stores had them out. they proberly bring the game out a day earlier illegally i reakon.

He did read your post. All you did was ask your shop and they tell you the date. You have been told the aussie date is the 12th, and the shops are all saying dates between 11th and 15th. Your shop isn't so special thats its better than all the others. The release date in aussie is the 12th.

man ppl on this forum are getting stupid or something. everyone knows that rugby leagues official release date is the 12th i was just stating that i get my copy a day earlier at jnc and just said that maybe the rumours about the game coming out on the 11th is true i wasnt implying that i just found out the release date is the 12th man u ppl r fkn stupid!!!

Or if you believe that you would believe the other shops that say you have to come in on the 15th as we won't get it by then, or come into the shop on the 5th and we will definitely have it. 11th, 12th - they can both be right!

Offical date is 12th, meaning it must be distributed to shops before the 12th, ready for opening.

So if someone from a small specialised store is expecting their shipment on the afternoon of the 11th, then why wouldn't they hand over one to a well-known pre-ordering customer straight away?

Everyone settle down. It's called customer service, something that most big stores or organisations are too bureaucratic to care about.

A mate of mine went in to buy Tony Hawk Underground 2 days before it was released and bugged the girl at the counter to give it to him early. When he got home he found there was no disc in the package so he took it back.
When he got there the manager served him and told him the girl had no right to give it to him before the release day, refunded his money and told him to come back on the release day. The girl that served him (also a friend of mine) got severely reprimanded over it.
