The move of Whare to Centre has been the right move he looks like an international centre, he is playing some good football now.

LOL f**k me dead you don't want much, a flogging of the Storm? lol. Come on mate...lets not forget where we are right now compared to the Storm. lol
The Storm very rarely let teams flog them and we scored 3 good tries against them, it was just kicking last week that let us down otherwise it was 18-0 and if Segeyaro had held the ball for his run in the 2nd half would have been 24-0...not many teams put that on the Storm.
Roberts/Jennings/Satini will be in that centre position in a few weeks and Brown back to the backrow with Newton gone.
IMO.
That's Cleary 2011 like thinking and it's scary.

The more tries comment was tounge in cheek. I actually enjoyed the storm game more than last night.
I'm a bit confused (actually quite a lot!) by that statement Chris...:?.
Can you please explain?
Didn't Cleary take the Warriors to the grandfinal in 2011....with Brown playing in the centres???
If Cleary is going to get us to the grandfinal (or even just the semis), then I couldn't care less if he uses hookers and props as our centres.....
Whaterver works.
Yes Brown did play centre 2011 for the back half of the season much to the fans frustration and was paired with Mannering at times. It's terrible logic and the best centres are nothing like back rowers but for one or two freaks. Jennings, Morris, Ferguson, Gagai, Matai, Lyon, Tate, Wighton, etc, centres, nothing like back rowers. Inglis is a freak who could play back row and Hodges could probably make a fist of it, Idris about the only other one.
I understand what you are saying Chris, I just think that we should leave Brown there until a good centre is ready to take his spot, such as Roberts or Jennings.
I just do not want to see them put Naquama back there because he is shit, I would not want to see either Daniela or Tighe again either.
 Brown scored two tries on the weekend. Not all backrowers are the same you know,For example Lewis Brown, Sonny Bill Williams, Paul Gallen, Luke Lewis, Sika Manu, Tarig Sims...all very different shapes and sizes.
I mean you said it yourself the warriors went to the GF with Brown in the centres, I bet they wouldnt have with Wes in the centres.
He played well on the weekend, in a 60 point win opposite Johnson most of the game who was defending terribly. The Warriors went to the gf with Brown in the centres, and yet Cleary moved him next season, and then moved him back at the end of the year due to injuries where he didn't win a single game.
Someone said back rowers are like centres these days, I made the point they're not, I don't know what point you're making.
The point im making is that all backrowers are not the same, so therefore the blanket statement that "backrowers are not like centres" is stupid as some of them clearly can play the position and play it well.
Sure I would rather a specialist centre and Lewis in the Backrow but not if the specialist centre is Tighe or Wes, they both had a chance this season and Lewis is already outperforming both of them. Cant you see that? Three of our four wins have come with Lewis in the centres.
When one of our youngsters is ready give them a shot, until then leave Lewis there.
So please, do explain, which backrower is built like Gagai? Which back rower is built like Jennings? Who matches up with Matai? Props can play centre too, if you put them there, and if the team wins you might even convince some people it's because you put the prop at centre.
Tighe and Wes are copping the brunt of the team's edges having been consistently outnumbered and before Moylan was in the team there having been horrible back line movement/service, that and fans being willfully blind. Apparently when a centre does not come up with the stop when confronted with three or four attackers that makes them a poor defensive centre (except Whare oddly). Especially nonsensical when Cleary has Brown defending inside centre (which he could do playing back row) whereas Tighe and Wes actually did defend at centre for the most part.
Brown looked every bit as shit as them in the shitty team against Newcastle, had a nothing game against Parra despite us strolling home and the real changes that have improved the team actually occurring then and he missed 5 tackles and 2 ineffective for 16 made against the Roosters. Prior to the NZ slaughter he was providing about 1 tackle bust a game, and not at all particularly impressive defensive statistics.
So no, I can't see how he is outperforming both of them. He looks better because the team is looking a shit load better.
