Injury News - Muckert

Speaking to some people out back after the game, it looks like Muckert dislocated his knee and probably cracked his knee cap. If tests show something bad like this could be 8-ish weeks on the sideline.

Then there is also Tsoulous injured, but I am not sure what the extent of that is.

That's a real shame about Muckert. He finally gets himself into first grade after suffering a cracked cheekbone and played very well scoring a try and now he's back on the sidelines :( Why are we so cursed with injuries?

Hopefully the diagnosis on Tsoulos is not so serious.

Muckert actually dislocated his shoulder and found this from smh

But he [smith] was pleasantly shocked at the extreme scoreline. The only sour note for Parramatta was a dislocated shoulder to lock Chris Muckert and a shoulder injury to Justin Tsoulos.

Smith, ruing the loss of yet another player to injury to disrupt the momentum of the side said: "I didn't know how many more players I've got to lose before the man upstairs says enough is enough."

Its a shame for Tsoulos, evn Cheif Harrigan said he had been impressed with him over the last few weeks.

It is not just the injury, but the lost time and getting back to match fitness.

All these games are part of a learing curve for a young bloke, and he was improving every week.

Damnit,No wonder Muckert seemed to be angry walking up the Tunnel when Ch.9 showed him.

He was playing really well.

Having two pretty crook shoulders myself, I know the probs but some guys have an ability to play even when they pop because the damage occasionally doesn't affect the tendons or ligaments in that region. I was one of the lucky ones and actually played for 18 months before I needed any remedial surgery; hopefully Tsoulos and Muckert pray to the same pagan god.

Muckert had a great game...... living up to what he is capable of. Damn shame to miss him thru injury again.
