Parramatta centre Waqa Blake is out indefinitely due to his ongoing calf problem.

The Eels released an update on Tuesday which confirmed the centre would be out for an unspecified period of time.

Meanwhile, Bryce Cartwright (jaw) and Ryan Matterson (concussion) are both ready to go after overcoming complaints.

Brent Reed said a couple of times when the Nrown contract was being discussed that Parra had a huge opinion or Briton Nikora and that he could takes Nrowns spot if he left. I assumed the goose had him confused with Marata.

Michael Oldfield has returned for the Parramatta Eels, but one player has been added to the injury list.

Ray Stone has been ruled out with a shoulder injury.

He is expected to return to play in Rounds Nine or 10.

Waqa Blake remains sidelined with a calf injury.
