NRL

Peni Terepo (jaw - indefinite)
Peni broke his jaw playing for Wentworthville early in the season. He had surgery and wires inserted at the time and tomorrow will have these removed, paving the way for him to return to contact training. Expect him back on the field in the next 4-6 weeks.

Jacob Loko (knee – season)
Jacbo's status is good, his recovery from off-season knee surgery to his ACL is progressing ahead of schedule. He will not play this year.

Rory Brien (shoulder – indefinite)
Rory's status is unchanged - he is recovering well from off-season shoulder surgery and is also ahead of schedule. He is expected to make it back onto the field later in the season. UPDATE: Rory this week trained with the full Eels squad.

Ben Smith (pectoral – indefinite)
Ben's status is unchanged - he is recovering well from surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle. He is now approximately 6 weeks away from his return to the field, which is great news for the Eels.

Marmin Barba (knee - season)
Marmin underwent surgery on his ruptured ACL and is progressing well in his recovery. He will not play this year.

NYC

James Tuitahi (ankle - Round 9)
James is taking longer than expected to recover from a high ankle sprain but the injury is not deemed serious.

Toby Key (foot - indefinite)
Toby has recovered well from a stress fracture in his foot and returns to full training next week.

Semi Radradra (ankle - Round 9)
Semi rolled his ankle last week but will be back in action in Round 9 against the Dogs.

original thought was broken ankle - now they've realised he just didnt want to be on the field anymore and should be fine for next week

Welcome to the Injury Report for Round 10!

Eels Digital spoke with second rower Justin Horo prior to his fitness test to gauge his recovery from a shoulder injury suffered four weeks ago.

Horo passed the test and will line up for Wentworthville this week.

In other news, blockbusting prop Peni Terepo has been cleared to play for Wentworthville this week after spending the past 10 weeks recovering from a broken jaw.

Terepo suffered the injury in a pre-season trial against Penrith but says he's actually fitter now than what he was prior to the injury.

Esi Tonga (hamstring - Round 12)
Esi Tonga is busy recovering from a hamstring injury. He's expected to be out for at least the next 2 weeks.

Willie Tonga (ankle - indefinite)
Willie suffered ligament damage to his ankle while playing against the Bulldogs in Round 9. He is expected to miss at least the next month of football.

Jacob Loko (knee – season)
Jacbo's status is good, his recovery from off-season knee surgery to his ACL is progressing ahead of schedule. He will not play this year.

Both the Tonga boys are out for a while and our NYC squad is free of serious injuries for the first time this season.

Willie Tonga (ankle - Round 18))
Willie has been training strongly in recent weeks and is nearing his return to the field after suffering ligament damage to his ankle while playing against the Bulldogs in Round 9.
Justin Horo (ankle - Round 20)
Justin had only recently made his return from a knee injury but unfortunately suffered a partial tear to his ankle ligament and is expected to be out for at least 3-4 weeks.
Ryan Morgan (back - Round 16)
Ryan was a late withdrawal to the side that played Souths in Round 15 after struggling to overcome a disc problem in his back. He is expected to be fit for selection for this week's match against Penrith.
Jordan Atkins (shoulder - season)
Jordy underwent surgery to stabilise his damaged AC joint and will not play again this year.
Jason Seage (temple - season)
Jason suffered a fractured temple in Round 15 of the NSW Cup which required surgery. He recovering well but will not play again this year.
Jacob Loko (knee – season)
Jacbo's status is good, his recovery from off-season knee surgery to his ACL is progressing ahead of schedule. He will not play this year.
Marmin Barba (knee - season)

Cheyse Blair (left eye - TBC)
Cheyse has undergone scans to determine if there is any structural damage to his eye socket following a collision with Timana Tahu during the Eels' Round 17 match against the Knights. At this stage it's unknown if he'll be fit for selection against the Sea Eagles in Round 18.
Tim Mannah (rib cartilage - TBC)
Tim will undergo further tests to determine the extent of rib cartilage damage suffered in the team's Round 17 loss. At this stage he is considered in doubt for the side's Round 18 match.
Ben Smith (thigh cork - TBC)
Ben suffered a corked thigh during the team's Round 17 match but is expected to be fit for this week's game.
