The strange thing abput that occurring would be they would still be under the salary cap, and because the Dogs and Tigers are the media favourites. No questions, some things are just amazing, they said they have 10 players off contract at the end of this year, that was the reason, and they are extending their contracts.

I caught up with Tim mannah after the game and he was limping badly. Sore ankle.Ken sio copped a knock and is also limping although he said it wasn't that bad. I thought it wasn't as bad as Tim which looked bad.

But have a look at the Dogs roster this year (before renewals). Ok, so Morris, Ennis, Pritchard, Tolman, Graham, Turner (maybe) would be on decent salaries. Barba signed a while ago. Inu...well who knows how much the Warriors are picking up. I mean....I hate them, but I'm not convinced that they are cheating (yet).

I don't get the Oasis ref.....or was that something implicated the last time they cheated the cap (vague memories of something).

Its like golf, a good scorer beats a good golfer , so a better accountant beats a good auditor

They let go about 10 players at the end of 2012 (Andrew Ryan, Idris, Roberts, Hickey, Hodgson, Warburton, Armit, Morrin, Tia-Kilifi & Paea), and signed only Graham and a couple of chumps, and later Inu /Perret. The salary cap is going up by about $700k next year (so by more than T-Rex's rumoured annual contract). Who have they added (T-Rex, Inu, Perret)?

Keating is not yet confirmed as re-signed, nor are Stagg, Goodwin, Romelo, Wright, MacDougall et al.

No, I can just recognise the difference between what I'd like to be true, and the evidence before me ;-) I'm perfectly capable of hating the dogs regardless of their salary cap legitimacy. Anyway... a bit off topic in an injuries thread...I'll go back to my dog loving.

Why is everyone worried about the dogs? Worry about our own club first.They dont have guys like Poore on 350K or mortimer beeing paid to play at another club.
Go thru there team and none are on huge $$$ like sandow hindy or hayne.
They have guys like Wright,reynolds who would be on small $$$ this season.
