If Russel is fit which is probably a long shot I wouldn't be dissapointed. In a game where we destroyed the opponent he didn't have in effective run.

Only what BA said last night, he was a little tight so they brought him off since they are already light on outside backs.

Waqa Blake has been sidelined indefinitely after suffering an MCL injury in Saturday's game against the Titans.

Blake had scans yesterday to confirm the injury.

His exact return date is unknown, but he will be out for an extended period of time.

FYI Sean Russell's injury was similar to Drew Hutchison, ribs and punctured lung (2021 when Dylan was in the news).

Hutchison was out for 6 whole weeks, before he returned straight to NRL on the bench.

So that would put Sean Russell on a return date of Rnd 8 in Darwin if recovery is the same.

That left wing spot is a poison chalice atm.

Who would want to play there. 4 serious injuries in 10 games to whoever is playing on that wing. Sivo, dunster, russell and Blake.

Sivo i was told from someone at the club at the Dragons game was ahead of schedule from his knee injury. So could be round 10 or 11 perhaps he didnt give me a specific date. But he was projected for midway through which is round 13/14.

Marata Niukore will return for the Parramatta Eels in Round Six, after spending a period time sidelined with a calf injury.
As revealed yesterday, Waqa Blake has been sidelined indefinitely after suffering an MCL injury in last week's game against the Titans.
Sean Russell remains out after fracturing his ribs and suffering a punctured lung in Round One.

He is due to return to play between Rounds 8 to 10.
Solomone Naiduki has been added to the casualty ward, with a hamstring injury.
He is expected to return for selection in Rounds 7 or 8.
Maika Sivo remains sidelined as he recovers from a ruptured ACL.
Ray Stone (ACL) and Haze Dunster (ACL, MCL, PCL) are out for the season.
