The Parramatta Eels can provide the following injury update ahead of their Round 6 clash against the Canberra Raiders.

A host of players are set to return through the NSW Cup this week, with Bryce Cartwright (ribs), Matt Doorey (hip), Haze Dunster (hamstring), Wiremu Greig (ribs) and Brendan Hands (body rash/infection) all making successful recoveries.


Both Mitch Moses (foot) and Jack Williams (knee) are still on track to return in Round 9 after Parramatta's bye.

Arthur Miller-Stephen has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering an ACL injury. He successfully completed surgery on Monday.

Fingers crossed, lomax isn't injured.

Maybe the squad named is an indication he is ok. We have only named one reserve back in Simonson. Surely if there was any chance Lomax may be out, we would name 2. One to cover Lomax and another in case of a late injury/coverage.

Unfortunately, with our recent history, naming someone in the squad would paradoxically indicate they are out!

Same thing happened with Jack Williams two weeks ago - and numerous players haven't shown up on Injured list for weeks.

Before anyone jumps, I am not criticising the club, I am just saying that it may not be an indicator of him being okay.

I also should note that I know nothing about his actual injury and I will be devastated if he is out!
