Ffs we can’t take a trick. Looks like this season will be a case of last club that can still field a decent fit squad, and that ain’t looking like us now.

Five@NZWarriors players off for scans this afternoon. Peta Hiku, Adam Pompey and Paul Turner the worst of them. All expected to spend time on the sidelines. Adds to growing list of Warrior injured. More new faces in the NRL line-up for this week. Young blokes never let you down

Gutted for Turner in particular. He’s had two chances and grabbed them both with both hands, he deserves an extended crack.

I hope we re-sign Turner pronto. After almost losing him to the Broncos (I was shattered when I heard the news about Turner heading to Brisbane btw lol) to have him here still should mean we secure his services. The kid is a NRL star in the making.

All these injuries are frustrating and sad, but the three we absolutely can't lose for the season are Roger, Harris and Blake. We've had a big fright with the latter.

8 frontline players, pretty brutal injury toll

that’s a big loss, he provide some creativity in the backline

Berry has been getting some plaudits for his defence, which is fair enough, but we haven't really had the chance to see him much on attack. Would be great if he has some creativity? He has a bit of gas right? I've never seen him play except these few first grade matches recently.

Anyone know the real story with Big Ken? I've read mentions of him dropped and other mentions injured (calf) in various media, so all very confusing.

Leg issue was not too serious but they made the call to rest him,. Brown advised this in an interview. Whether that is the truth is another thing. I know its Fusitua with the mental issues at the moment. I hope Ken is okay.

CHT doesn't need surgery on pec.

Meanwhile, there’s good news for the Warriors with young half Chanel Harris-Tavita understood to have avoided surgery on a suspected torn pece.

The Warriors playmaker consulted with a surgeon who informed him he didn’t need to go under the knife.

The No. 7 is likely to be back within the next two to four weeks.
