That was a fairly strong Nationalelf team put out and the back 4 + ter Stegen looked like ransoms who'd never met & can't speak the same language. Good to see Hummels exposed though. More Dortmunder :lol:

Germany are tainted with the Vize-Virus as we're Bayern, they can't win in Euro 2012.

Denmark looked garbage as well. Portugal a big chance.

I was watching without sound and missed the whole second half, which from what I heard, was just as bad...

I did the exact same. Couldn't stand another 45 minutes of that.

The Socceroos looked decent whenever they had possession, notably the Kewell flick onto Jedinak's pass to Brosque's attempt on goal, but sadly their pressing defense was woeful : 38% possession or something similar in the first half.

I still think that Spira's penalty was a bit harsh though?

It was a shit game just like the 2010 one. Contact was minimal and Agger was looking for the penalty. Wilkshire should have been sent off after 10 so I guess we can use Italian logic and say it evens out.

I saw the highlights this morning and Kewell should have buried that second half chance from intercepting a bad pass. I read an article saying Denmark were impressive but really they weren't. Osieck had us sitting back far too deep so whenever we had the ball we couldn't do anything with it and it just allowed them to camp in our half. Denmark should get swept at the Euros based on these friendly games but I guess stranger things have happened.

I had the laugh when Simon Hill was waffling on about the stadium being one of the great atmospheres in football :lol: it was a library. I didn't notice the crowd unless they were throwing streamers on to the field.

Our defence was just f**king awful. North and Spiranovic deserved to be hooked, why we didn't play Zullo or McGowan and Ogg in the middle I'll never know.

Had some decent chances going forward but couldn't make them count.

I really like Spiranovic. I think he'll be our consistent CB for the next 5-10 years once Neil retires.

North is a f*cking genius though. He makes Kisnorbo look like Tony Adams.

Argentina with a 4-3 win over Brazil today, Messi grabbed a hat trick, his last goal in particular was a cracker!
