There was the one that went over the top of the upright. The commentators made mention of it, saying the goals in Mackay arent as tall as those in the NRL.

Although that one looks like it went through, surely the touchies couldnt have messed it up. it bounces in the ingoal is a goal, in the field of play its no goal. Unless the wind was strong enough to blow it around the posts which is what caused confusion.

seen a hell of a lot of footy games in my life...watched a gazillion conversions
From what I have seen ...that kick looked like it went over.
Can't be 100%
However , gut feeling is it went over.
Inu thought it went over and so did the trainer.
It hit inside edge of upright at speed and appeared to keep going forward even though it had changed direction .

Luckily the game game didn't hang off that kick.

Whinging about bonus points a team shouldn't have even got in the first place is a bit geniused in my view. If it was my team i would've just been more than happy to get away with it but each to their own i spose....

Oh and for the record at the time i thought the ball went over from but given the shot was so far away there's no way of conclusively knowing either way from that footage. Given the touch judges were much closer than any of us i think it's fair to say they had a much better view.

neither team should even be in the comp .

No, it's not. The OP is talking about the one at 32:27 with the score at 10-0.

There's only the one angle available, and it starts through the posts but curls away - it's impossible to tell though from front on whether it went through or not. The touchies said no, I tend to agree.

Agree, the video is inconclusive, and if wasnt for a quizzical look on Inu's face running back, the arguement wouldnt be based on much.

Although the Sideline chick thought it went over, started saying some stats about the dogs going to win all their games this year when scoring 16+ points, but quickly changed it to 14 when she realised it was no goal.

I'm sure if it did in fact go over, CH9 will uncover some footage for the Footy show Thursday night.
