Somehow he landed on his ass for the simplest catches multiple times. How does that happen?
Makes you appreciate the greatness of our Lord Jarryd Hayne when plodders like this grace your football life at the fullback position
Except that Hayne would make a far better Centre than a Fullback, not only do they need to be able to defend the tryline they need to call the team in defence . . . something Jarryd doesn't do well

Off topic but I thought the dragons had the opposite problem, moving Dugan to centre. He looked shizen and old mate wasn't great at the back either.
100% This...Dugan is a fish out of water in the centres. Put him out the back Mary!
It wasnt the coaches decision, Dugan asked to play centre
I agree that is what is being done, but the stupid part is we are doing it with a guy who simply cannot play fullback as our stop gap.
There was a moment at a scrum yesterday where Ferguson tried to pack into lock while defending our line and had to be told to get back in position by Nikorima. It was embarrassing.
If we had a veteran fullback like we had in Mini, then the RTS-style training program for Mitchell would make sense. When you are just shoving some bloke back there whose never played the position before with even a modicum of success you are asking for trouble. We are effectively training 2 people to play fullback at the same time.
Mitchell needs to be back there from next week, with Ferguson moved back to centre where he belongs and SKD shifted to the wing
The Roosters have Omar Slaimankhel in reggies. I remember him absolutely carving NYC a few years back for the Warriors at fullback and was NSW Cup fullback of the year last year. Why not give him a run if you want to ease Mitchell in?
Sisa Waqa is playing reggies for Canberra. Ask Canberra to release him. He's a handy fullback too.
The Dogs have two first grade quality fullbacks in their NSW cup side as well.
