Im immensely impressed with Nathan. I was very dubious about him at Test or SOO, but this year he has truly blown me away. He is the perfect partner for Fitzy because you dont need to replace either of them. I can see both of them forming a formidable partnership in the years to come !! Well played Nathan, but what a shame Fitzy wasnt there to lend him a hand :(

With Fitzgibbon there, Hindmarsh will be able to concentrate more on his running game, as alot of the defensive workload will be relieved.

How was the Kiwi pack underrated?
I didn't uinderrate them, but I think a lot of people thought Aussies would just automatically win? I'm saying maybe they didn't realise what they were up against, but they do now.

He played well but geez he feel into some tackles.

Poor bloke. Every time he went for a run Vagana would put a hit on him without the ball which lead to Australia scoring twice

Parra should really make the man captain. Nothing against Cayless but geez Hindmarsh is a talent.

Hindy doesn't want the captaincy, getting stuck talking to referees etc. Just leading by on-field example is enough for him.

Good to see you all rate Hindmarsh Highly, i agree the lad is a huge talent.
But would you say that if he was a Pom?? Not many people know this but Nathan is actually from here over here in West Cumbria, his sister still lives here at Workington with her family, Nathen moved to OZ as a child with his father when they divorced. Good piece of info that is!!
Obviously the lad has done well, maybe some day he will come back to his roots and play for us at Workington Town........we can all dream!!

This is what Steve Roach said in the dailytelegraph.

Roach said he could also not understand the sacking of Kennedy and the retention of Nathan Hindmarsh.

"Hindmarsh didn't do a single carry in the first half. They said he was being used as a decoy ... please," he said.

"You have to roll your sleeves up in a Test match.

"The Poms could declare open slather on us.

"We have to toughen up."

Roach is an idiot, its not Hindmarsh's fault if they didnt pass him the ball. Hindmarsh was probably the hardest working forward in the game and doesnt need to roll his sleeves up.

Is that right? You may want to check your facts because both Ian and Nathan were born in Bowral..... ;-)

P.S. Hindmarsh really needs to pull up he's pants before he learns the hardway. Hopoate will target him big time.

the man is a legend, he just never stops.

The second best player on the ground for me, only negative this week, not as much quality arse crack as last week.

Found out the truth about Hindmarsh and his Workington Links, his mother is from here in Workington, apparently Nathen came up here today with the Anzac team and was going to catch up with some of his relatives!
So, yes i was wrong, he wasnt born over here afterall, i do apologise, do lose to much sleep over it will you!!

He was my pick for man of the match, ran the ball up well, defended well and put in a few good charge downs, if he didn't make that last charge down we probably wouldn't have won the match.
