IS THERE ANYONE ELSE BESIDE ME THAT HAS ESPN?..lol i need some back up.
man no way madden is better then 2k5...
I'll admitt the running styles of espn are not that great, but other then that there isnt a ai flaw where you can do certain plays and that the defense just cant stop..
For me anytime a game has a go to play where the success rate is around 95% thats when you know they didnt create the better game.
Madden has some nice features, but it all falls short..2k4 vs 2004 was a good even match up as the franchise of madden was better yet the game play was tied but was more in favour of 2k4.
2k5 vs Madden 05, 2k5 released some early information about pre game shows, halftime shows and player of the game shows as well as a more improved weekly wrap up and draft analysis by Mel Kiper Jr..ea heard this and took it as a serious threat so they brought in the greatest ever update in the histroy of games...the tony bruno show..
Madden gameplay wise rarely changes which is dissapointing cause anyone who has played the game since 97 would see its almost the exact same thing with touch ups (duh lol)..madden should be the greatest sport game ever..but when a company can come in and deliever a game superior then yours after only a few years thats when you know you've been holding back.
Madden 04 to 05 was a bigger jump then what they have done before but it was cause of the competition..now that we know there wont be any other offical nfl game then expect the same game next year with updated rosters...
I used to be alot like you guys in thinking madden was better..but the more you play both the more you reliese what each game lacks. ESPN released each years version as though it was a new game rather then an update..
only a couple more days till espn is released for $40 so see for yourselfs.
