Opinion Is Ricky Stuart the most overrated coach ever?

Ricky Stuart created the Leilua/Rapana combo which is now the best winger/centre combo in the NRL.
He developed Austin into Dally M 5/8 of the year last year.
He developed Hodgson into the 2nd best hooker alive.

Yep, pretty much. He's just a sad lil follower. What's sadder is it would've been dead for 9 years, if he hadn't bumped it after it had already been dead for 2.

Not sure if it is just coaching, but their recruitment the last three years or so has been outstanding. Have complemented the forwards and outside backs that they always seems to produce really well.

I also get the impression Ricky is happier in Canberra, seems a tiny bit less intense. Either way, he's doing a pretty reasonable job. Like the team he has created

Well done to the raiders, I enjoy watching them play.

One thing I will ask though, is it just me or do they seem to play a crap team every week? I'm trying to remember them ever playing a top team this year. I'm sure they have but the only games I remember are against the Broncos when they got belted, then they played the dogs and cowboys who were missing their origin players. Have they played the sharks/storm or Cowboys with their origin players this year?

We played the Sharks earlier in the year and got belted. In a few weeks we'll play the Storm and the Sharks in consecutive weeks. But yeah, we've been lucky to only have to play the Cowboys and Storm once this year. We've beaten the Bulldogs twice this year though.

TBH I don't think we'll finish in the Top 4 unless the Bulldogs drop a few more games.
