Glad to see the Karate Kid get squared up and feel what it it like to be smashed for a change.

No Raiders fan but f**k that little grub was owed a thing or two.

Like I have said on many occasions this narcissistic piece of garbage coach always blames everyone except himself. He is the king of deflection. He is lucky that he had 13 players on the field yet has the audacity to whinge.

What a myth and without a shred of a doubt the most overrated coach in the game and has been since the early 2000's.

Interesting that a Knights fan of all has minimal compassion towards another player after an unlucky accident on the field, you've obviously never suffered from or had to support a close friend/relative who was under the effects of a debilitating concussion, not referring to a short-term injury either.

also as a fan that press conference was seriously embarrassing. if stuart wants to end each game with some classic cringe comedy he should send larry david out to do the presser

The best part was the Raiders were very fortuitous to have 13 players on the field in this game. There were some bad calls each way, and every club (except the Broncos) gets a raw deal in at least one game in a season. This just wasn't one of those games for the Raiders. It was bizarre he decided to unload on that game of all games. I can only imagine he was just pissed off and thought it was a game they should have won under the circumstances and looked for something else to blame.

Ever since Taupau laid out Jack Bird with a late swinging arm a player has never been sent for such an offense

I have paid attention to his pressers, he's maintained that teams find a way to slow down the ruck more than usual against his team because if they're allowed fast ball, they're near unstoppable (in his view, that's the difference from last season to this season, teams have countered their fast play but denying them quick ball). So I guess when they come up against the masters of slowing down the ruck, it makes sense he would be left fuming if nothing was done by the refs to stop it from happening but much like yourself, this game didn't strike me as one of those games where the refs made it impossible for them to compete

Two games off the top of my head I can think of where the refs simply made it impossible for the other team.. Souths/Brisbane, my god we overcame a lot on that night (just kidding, Souths were never a chance), the other was a few weeks ago when Manly were on the receiving end of a 14-4 penalty count

Got to agree with Ricky some decisions were a joke. Like going to vid ref for a blatant illegal play by Vunivalu

Refs did pretty much everything they could to give the raiders the win bar putting the ball over the line for them.

It's time to Bring in a 10min sin bin for tackles like that and reduce other sin bins for prof foul etc to 5mins.

Melbourne did hold us down but we need to have a plan B. If we can get moving with an alternative plan that puts Melbourne on the backfoot and means they won't get such a good position in the ruck. Which means we can go back to plan A.

At the moment if a side can frustrate the Raiders and control the ruck we simply cannot beat them. Be it Melbourne or Newcastle we will lose

ALL professional fouls which include the 50 professional fouls a game both teams give away resetting the line on tackle 1 if they get shot need to get a 5 minute bin and professional fouls like Munster should remain at 10 minutes if the refs believe it costs a side a genuine try scoring opportunity in the very next play

The Sia tackle is covered under the rules with a send off but the refs just bottled it.
