A fire sale would downright criminal with this squad.
Sorry but the Newcastle Knights have a no-refunds policy across our BJ range. It's in our terms and conditions.

if Farah is the answer then what is the question?Ricky thinks Farah is the answer. That'll do me!
if Farah is the answer then what is the question?
if Farah is the answer then what is the question?
And right on cue he's looking to ditch Sezer and sign Robbie Farah.Get ready for this fool to start offloading players. That's his usual operation - blame the players that are there when he first arrives, then blame the refs and the nrl, then blame the players he signed and then, finally, blame the whole club when he gets sacked.
Mal Meninga. The fact that he made 3 grand finals in a row notwithstanding, he only won one of those, in his debut year. That was 2002. Ever since then, he has tread water in a pool of shit, hopping from one responsibility to the next, whether it be club or representative level, and failing at every single one. And don't bring up his stint as the Kangaroos coach, that was all the unified skill of the players.
Why is it then, that these talent bankrupt clubs (Cronulla 2007-2010, Parramatta 2013, Canberra 2014) put so much stock in those first 3 years of his career? That is ancient history by today's standards. His name always manages to find its way into the headlines, whether be over one of his signature whinges or something else, while actual amazing coaches like Hasler, Bennett and Bellamy with a proven pedigree get on with the job without making a big song and dance in the press over every little thing.
The only other challenger I could think of for the most overrated coach of the modern era would be Tim Sheens. Coaches who have had more than their fair share of chances, come up naught and continue to get them.
Maybe we could change it to is Jarrod Croker the most overrated centre ever. merkin doesn't know how to defend. Instead of making a decision he just runs backwards until someone else makes the decision for him
Can we rename this thread? Surely nobody rates Ricky as a coach
Michael Hagan is probably sitting back wondering how Stuart keeps getting employment while he's been out of the league for years.
They both won a premiership their first year after inheriting a ready to win now roster. Stuart is the cockroach who won't stay down though.
Wonder whose fault it will be tonight?
