It is always the refs fault when they lose Ricky, never your inept coaching ability.

I like it, although it could be problematic. Cameron Smith may have to sign a 3rd, 4th or 5th contract.

Somehow I doubt the nrl are genuinely interested in teaching lessons to coaches about being polite. His fine will go to some charity and the nrl will look like nice guys.

Let's not kid ourselves, the referees decided the result in that match. Both teams were pretty poor and no one deserved to win, but the referees certainly made it a lot easier for Penrith by just completely changing the 'tackled in the air' rule not once, but twice.

It was blatantly horrendous refereeing and they deserved to be called out. Badger and his mate should be paying the exact same amount as Stuart for bringing the game into disrepute.

My point is, how many people have commented on this forum alone that the standard of refereeing is pissing them off. Seriously, the blokes in pink decide several games a week and by allowing them to keep going about their business without being challenged just allows their mediocrity to spread.

Sometimes I get the feeling that Ricky is jealous of Tommy Raudonikis's 1999 Magpies team, and wants to see how bad a team he can assemble and break all the records Tommy's team set.

Though some records can never be broken. Like amount of cigarette's Tommy smoked during one first grade match (approx 120).

Or the fact that the Raiders had more possesion, especially the second half and were tackled in our 20 a lot more then we were tackled in yours. I acknowledged that neither team deserved to win, and there were a couple of bad calls for the panthers - the main one being when our guy threw the ball back in and we got the scrum feed.

I also however didn't mention the ridiculous non-knock on call against idris amongst a host of other howlers.

The biggest point is that referees deserve to be criticised, they ruined that match - and it'd be a miracle to get through even one round without them cocking up and influencing a result.

This. The only thing that lost the Raiders that game, was the Raiders
