The race to the spoon is getting intense with the Knights seemingly getting in the clear. Sharks still the favourite but Ricky is still right in the frame.

Sharks v Raiders could determine the spoon, though with "upsets" seemingly being the normal result this season, I wouldn't completely rule out any team on 20 points or less.

Wooden spoon will probably go to a team on 5 or 6 wins (pretty normal) but could go to a team with 7 or 8 wins (unusual- Penrith in 2007 had the spoon on 7 wins (in a year destroyed for credibility by the Storm) and Knights finished with 8 wins and had the spoon in 2005).

It could be a rare year where the spoon team is only two or so wins from the finals.
