I've seen poorly officiated games but it's never this bad.
The ref claims he 'didn't see' the Roberts kick....which in itself is ludicrous but a previous knock on call is overturned when its looked at again!
And the discussion on the points scored between the refs.....its disappointing,

All I will say is that I found tonight's refereeing display to be of a deplorable and unacceptable quality.

A ref saying he didn't see a tackled player kicking a defender is an admission of incompetence.

Not to mention there is another ref out there also, did he "not see it" also?

Wow I missed the headbutt. I've got no idea how they missed the Roberts kick the bunker should have picked it up, Sutton said he thought Roberts leg was being held.

I watch a lot of park footy and often times the single ref is are overawed kids trying to ref grown men as no better option is available.

I've still never seen a performance as inept as from the entire team of officials tonight.

Signed up just to vent on tonights refereeing..
With out a doubt, it was the worst game I have watched all season, and I have seen some very suspect games this year, but the deal breaker for me was the comment after Titans last try, "only 12 points difference Badge "
Who the hell said it and why do referees need to be updated on the score, has somebody backed the broncs at 13+...
Why is the score important to the refs?

You could tell it was going to be a difficult night for the Titans when there was a chummy handshake and banter between Sutton and Parker before the game kicked off.

That was one of the few games I've watched where I felt that something just wasn't right.

As in it was beyond incompetence.

The reffing was so one sided that it made uneasy viewing.

Sort of like Game 6 of the 2002 NBA Finals where the refs fixed the result in favour of the Lakers over the Sacramento Kings. It had that kind of stench about it tonight.
