I know, but I'm just going on what they said on the news. Is GWS finalised as the name? If so, they'll probably keep referring to themselves as GWS as opposed to Greater Western Sydney!

all i have seen from "GWS" so far is clutching at straws. The rubbish about the colours being chosen as they will connect to the community is complete bull and now the canberra business. I suspect that is more to do with having a contingency for when it goes belly up in Sydney.

If you want to use "royal" wes, claim swathes of territory for the AFL and enforce your beliefs on others, than be prepared to be treated with distain.
