Is the McGoldrick the best centre we have available ?

I still don't see why you'd take out our best back of 2004 who hasn't played all that bad, granted he hasn't had his best few games with the ball this season (as he hasn't seen much of it!) but still - how many shots does simmons get? How many shots will Mellor get?

I noticed Mellor got a lot more ball then McGoldrick has in the past, might it be that Raper was not to confident in Mcgoldrick attacking game, Also noticed Mellor was running into holes something that Mcgoldrick has failed to do in past

Still made the game though

As for Simmons, well he made a great try saving tackle, doing what he was supposed to do and scored the tries the method he always does - by getting the last touch by some great leadup work by others. I still see nothing of a possible replacement for Peachey and nothing more than a Johnny on the spot who can finish a movement.

However: putting aside his lack of attempt to catch that bomb, I have no complaints regarding him tonight, so he's made an improvement.

I'm sure Simmo doesnt have the same obsession with hate that you do ferrous.
