Is the War over?

He complained about it originally because of a player burn out issue, fair enough for regular season matches. But Bennetts solution of replaying games during the final series to take away golden point would be a lot worse for player burnout. He wanted the whole a grandfinal replayed on player burnout grounds, which was pretty impractical considering up to half a dozen players from both sides were in line for the kiwi tour of England a week later

I can't really say anything that hasn't already been said in this thread, or said by me before.

Kudos to everyone involved.

It's only round 4 blah blah bullshit
Let's see if you feel that way in rnd 26.

I'd worry about other teams before then, they would be taking note of some of the weaknesses in that team last night.
Better hope Milford isn't selected for Origin as well!

Milford can't be selected for origin this year.
The Broncos have a lot more improvement in them than the cows.
Did I mention reed and Oates both missed last nights game?

Perhaps if Wayne Bennett ever turned up to those coaches conferences he thinks a such a waste of time he could actually air his grievances there and do something about it instead of just whinging like a decrepit old merkin when golden point affects his team?

He did one better and was apart of the rules committee until he got the sack because he spoke out against golden point.

Really .
Lol keep telling yourself that .

It's kinda true, teams that play 8 matches in a row with the same team tend to peak. Morgan is probably the Cowboys main area for improvement - not that he's not good, he's just young and keeps getting better.

Broncos hung in there with a noticeably shambolic kicking game and without their preferred left edge, which was the source of most of their points last season.

You really aren't going to get an objective conversation with this subject anyway.

But the Cowboys were and have been pretty ill disciplined with penalties and not taking care of the ball, 2nd half that was fixed up and the game became better.
Let's not forget that at one point the Broncos were up 10-0.

I rate Oates but Reed? He's a passenger at best. I've tried to give the guy a fair go and watch his games but I just can't see it. He's opportunistic at best and a decent defender but what else?

Um yes a GF win is still more important than a rnd 4 win no matter what f**king time of the year it is.

And the Broncos couldn't beat a Panthers team missing Moylan, Whare, Segeyaro and Merrin.

May as well hand the Panthers the premiership now. Congrats Panthers fans.

Reed is either a great or terrible defender, not much in between. Looks great running of Milford though.
