Hang on Hindmarsh pulls out any there is an excuse for us to lose by 30 points ?????
Hindy will retire one day, if this team is so dependent on one or two players then we had better ask for refunds from the others.
Last nights performance was unacceptable for any team that aspires to achieve any success this year.

What the hell ? The Drags beat us by 30 points and member here so no to panic. We lost to Sharks last week and then Dragons this week and members here say nothing to panic about. We have not shown any attitude or passion. Our 5th options were terrible and members say we have nothing panic. What we have done last years, cannot happen every year.

Good point there, we cant rely on a 10 game winning streak like last year to get us there, we have to get our sh*t together in the next 2 games (3 weeks with a bye coming up). Last nights game has put pressure on us, and if we dont aim up storm will destroy us.

Eels are going to lose so many members next season, terrible home record this season to boot, only reason our membership grew so much this season is because of Jarryd Hayne's magical form last season, that is the only reason.

Under 8k members next season guaranteed

The only issue i have at times when we are under the pump we do not handle it well ..

if we beat melb next week after we have the bye ...

still think we are going to have a good second half to the year, poore had his best game for us and we will be better, hope they put hayne at full back next origin to get his confidence up ...

this is the hardest run we get this year .. if we can beat melb it doesnt look that bad, just look at the tigers 3 weeks ago end of the world 2 weeks later diff story it is a tight comp still more twists and turns to come ...

poor old eels had hindmarsh and a couple of nuffies out and 2 backing up from origin .. St George had Jeremy Smith, Nathan Fein, Matt Cooper and Dan Hunt out as well as 5 backing up from origin .. who was the most understrength ?

Mate so true.

People are talking like we're at the bottom of the table and waiting for a late season run like last year.

The difference is we're already in the 8. We don't need a late run this year.

The rest of our year will be up and down (just like it has been so far) but overall it will be better than the first half. It's a crazy old competition and credit due to the Dragons and Panthers for doing as well as they are in such an even competition.

I reckon one day there'll be a season where the Minor Premiers only finish 6-8 points above the team that runs last.

You won 30-blot. I don't see how you can whinge about being understrength.

Look at the blokes who played, not the ones who were missing.

Anyhow, those blokes you named are all nuffies anyway. Just because you like them doesn't mean anybody else f**king rates them. I mean, who the f**k is Jeremy Smith? Doesn't he play halfback for Souths? Dan Hunt? He's famous for getting injured during warmup for f**k's sake. Cooper, Fein - the blokes who replaced them are better players. And backing up from Origin means nothing these days - modern sports science is a multi-billion dollar industry.

f**k, if Tahu can back up from Origin with his f**ked ankle anybody can.

I say panic, panic big time, we're doomed. If anyone thinks that we can give the comp a shake with this team then they are kidding themselves. No halfbacks and no hookers, yeah right dream on people.

Start planing for next year, that's if we are real lucky and pickup Cronk and a hooker from some fu*ken where. Otherwise sorry Hindy and Burty, great careers, but no premierships for you guys, and Caylo it is sadly already to late for you I'm affraid.

Of course not. I think last night showed why the Eels can win the comp and why the Dragons cant...:lol:
