By some of us you mean how many, Skinner? If it's so damning, why not a silent release? Could they pin down who released it? If it's the only thing that can invoke change, it should happen. Would it be threat to life and limb, or the repercussions too great?

Lange never named names, instead, he summarised the culture of dishonesty
and corruption that was rife there at the time....he was a very clever man.

Many of the names "rumoured" to be involved are no longer around, most have
passed over and I'm happy to say that, while it's not a good look at the moment,
it is simply overspending, and not dishonesty.

It is a real shame for the good of the gamethat the powers that be at the time can keep these things suppressed. Sure it brings the name of the game down when 'dirty deeds' are aired in public but at least there is the chance to remedy the problem. When facts are concealed the rot continues.
This is particularly true of previous All Black administrations where serious player misbehaviour was totally covered up and suppressed.
The thing I have to question in this instance is whether Lange spoke to Telfer 'in confidence'. If not it should have been made public immediately; if so Telfer had no right to attribute it to Lange.

The next few weeks will be interesting, I will be staggered if Chalmers and close mates get any sort of vote of confidence. In the short time they've been there, they have done a lot of damage and little work IMO
