Wow...real mature there vicious.

Why would making the Maggies the only feed be fair?
Or is that just a sad dig?

Well it`s quite simple really. The Tigers have their mascot being the Tiger attached to the NRL club, therefore in my opinion it`s only fait that the feeder club be called the Wests Magpies!!!

You old Wests supporters are a laughing stock. The way you guys carry on kills me. I take it that the only 7 to vote against the merger use this forum? 7 voting members. Now I appreciate Ink wasn't a voting member, because, let's face it, when you're on the dole, it's hard to be a member of Video Ezy, let alone a financial member of a Football Club.

You do realise that had the Wests management merged the Premier League teams two years ago when Balmain proposed it, this would not have come up. But, your old "remember how good we were when we won our 4 comps" mentality of Wests being one of the best teams to have ever played in the competition is laughable. That we need to keep our identity. We were a foundation club you know.

Well guess what, so were Gelebe and Annandale. And you know what, with the so called supporters that get on here and dribble out the side of their mouths, while they live in their Studio unit in the heart of Airds I wish to Christ that one of those two clubs were around so that we could have merged with them.

Wests fans, stick it up your collective Hep C ridden a...s

*awaits a proverbial bomb going off when the wests lot read this*

Wrighty .. is your name Conrad per chance ?

On grand final night a Balmain bloke happened to catch one of the buses from homebush to Wests Ashfield. On this bus they all started chanting Wests Wests Wests and Conrad got up and said `what the f**k's it got to do with you lot'. Needless to say he got belted but is one of the funnier grand final stories we heard.

A laughing stock would be a rather loud, drunk Balmain ''fan'' in a Magpies retro pushing in through the crowd waiting to enter Wests Leagues at Cambo after we'd beaten the Cowboys in 05 to make the semis, only for said fool to be turned away by the doormen for being pissed at 4.30pm, and said drunk retreating with tail between legs amid jeers and laughter from the waiting crowd.

LOL :whistle

Why shouldnt wests look for what is the best option for them?
What has the JV done for the Campbelltown region? 3 games a year and if your a good local player your reward is you are sent to balmain anyway.
The maggies are slowly fading away and if looking at another option can help save the clubs long tradition why shouldnt they see whats on offer.

What has the JV done for the Balmain region. We get the same amount of games yet we actually turn up. Wests were the ones that didn't want to merge the PL teams
Sheens wanted a merged team or the WT players to play at one side or the other to benefit the first team.

2003
Campbelltown; 5 matches, 8,802 average.
Leichhardt; 7 matches, 9,185 average.

2004.
Campbelltown; 5 matches, 13,365 average.

Take out the yr 2000 figures and re-work the averages.
The people of campbelltown have not (in the last 2 years) shown up to games. End of story.
Leichhardt needs and deserves more games as the fans have shown they are willing to attend matches at Leichhardt. The people of Campbelltown have shown the people out there can't be f**ked turning up. All 3 on Sundays in decent weather

And that average for the past few years is against opposition teams outside of Sydney (Sharks don't have many travelling fans).

I am hoping for a 6-6 split between both grounds in the future, but cannot see it happening. A 4-4-4 split would probably be the most likely scenario (with 4 games split between Telsta and Bluetongue).

15k average is decent for campbo this year given the 3 lacklustre games they were given. most other sydney grounds/teams would kill for that.

sharks and tits brought 100 fans tops and 2 hours before last weeks game it looked like it was gonna piss down. not an excuse, just facts.

meanwhile leichardt get marquee games against souths and manly and all the tradition that goes with it. there will be 10k souths supporters at leichardt in a few weeks.

I have no doubt that ticket prices are keeping crowds down at all venues. people aren't stupid. the club is still trying to rort their fans on the back of the gf win. $22 for GA and another $5 for an uncovered seat. i used to criticise shark park for that sh*t but now we are just as bad.

Why?

Was it cancelled or doesn't it help your stupid argument?

Yeah, they have.

End of story.

The games at Cambelltown have been the least palatable games. You know it, I know it and blind Freddy knows it. And even allowing for that, the difference is still f**k all.

FMD, the only game so far this year at Leichhardt only had 15k.

You talk a load of hot c**k. Leichhardt is full when we're going well or when it's a derby v Manly or Souths. Campbelltown doesn't get the opportunity to host Canterbury any more since the Telstra deal. All we get is Cronulla who have a couple of hundred travelling supporters or out-of-Sydney teams with sweet-f**k all travelling supporters.

Follow someone else you f**king nimnal.

Management should punt the Telstra arrangement. The lack of games and the fact that the better games are going to Telstra is hurting this club.

Sure he didn't get belted because his name was Conrad?

This story does explain why you hate Wests so much Conrad. It's OK we understand.

HAHAHAH - who said Balmain boys don't cry?

There used to be a poster on here called Tigger. He got so sick of his team being called the Wests Tigers, he gave up and went back to supporting English soccer.

His abuse of Wests was a lot funnier than yours. Search his posts, you might find some ideas.

Would be good but Telstra offers greater facilities for corporates an the like for the WT just to punt them. IMO the split of games will depend on what offer Telstra makes when the current deal expires. Unfortunately its all about pleasing corporates and making money at the moment.
