Good ole Cronulla, the elephant graveyard, where good old league players go to retire and die, while propping up their pensioner funds.

We need a hooker with experience
So we sign a hooker with experience who is still playing good footy

You guys need a forward
So you sign a 5/8 to play half back for a million dollars.

Yet, if you sign him for similar money and you tried very hard to sign him, he then becomes 5/8 in place of Todd Cheech Carney and he would never of played halfback at your club?

P.s...you need forwards, backs, a workable board, a trophy and a few thousand more members before you start throwing stones at any other club in the NRL.

Olive branch boy .... Still to piss weak to take me up that bet?
I'll give you a better deal if you want?
You only have to use the name " olive branch boy " for what's rest of this season.

Pay your rent .

To answer the original question - no.

Roosters once swapped Paul Dunn for Brian Battese of Canterbury. That was the worst swap ever IMO.

Ennis does not strike me as a guy who would hang around if he isn't capable of playing at 100%. He has impressed this year, been one of the dogs best by far. 2 more years seems just about right. Add to that he lives in the shire so it won't take long for him to become a solid part of that community and that team. His leadership in combo with Gallen will be interesting as well as his mentoring a few of the younger sharks kids about to step into FG. Thats what will be missed at the dogs, his leadership, workload and experience in guiding young players. Can Lichaa do any of that?

Koroisau strikes me as the hooker of 2014 worth paying decent coin to to scoop up, makes me think why Des did not have a shot at him? Seemed like no one knew how good he is until Isacc Luke went down. Well done to Gus for collecting this guy, he is a star.

Lichaa does look like he has loads of natural talent.. He will develop it, but shit he would have developed a lot better with playing a shared role with Ennis at the dogs. Pity Des could not have accommodated a master and apprentice situation. Instead he risks stacking too much on the young guy too soon. Lichaa was absolutely panting for breath after his first 17minutes of FG this year. He will critically need to build stamina even to play 40mins of FG.

With the young sharks showing great signs: Nu Brown and V Holmes, you will be surprised at how Flanno shapes a competitive team for 2015, one with experience and youth coming together. Will shock a few teams when the sharks turn the corner from asada, having no coach, and now wrecked with injury.

Sharks do need two signings urgently tho: centre and winger.

Sharks expected to announce Ennis signing this week.
http://m.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/michael-ennis-to-finish-his-career-with-the-cronulla-sharks-20140617-zsawp.html

Michael Ennis, 30 years old, absolute rubbish and career form in decline.

Michael Lichaa, 20 years old, great potential and one of the best young hookers in the game.

Sharks have been dudded big time.

Ennis would be the sharks best signing in the last decade and lichaa is sh!t.
