after watching todays game im shocked that people are saying finch and smith had good games.

I must be way off because i thought finch and smith had there worst game of the season today. We should have put 30 points on before half time.

Finch went missing and Tim Smith took terrible attacking options close to the line.

I guess we should thankful Inu had a good game and passed that magical pass to reddy late in the game with Tahu also playing well.

Also all i can say if we let Pj Marsh go to keep these other clowns id be mighty disappointed with the club.

How's this?

* Riddell's try, which was disallowed

* Hayne's disallowed try

* Grothe's messed up try

Now, depending on conversions, that's an extra 12 to 18 points right there, making the final score anywhere between 30-12 to 36-12...Take that into consideration.

Ahh the Tim Smith debate!!

Why is it that people always compare Tim to Lockyer, Thurston, Johns, Sterling?!?!

He has been on the field for a year and a half of grade. He is not an international.

If we had a Lockyer, Thurston etc we would have to sack Hindmarsh or Cayless to fit under the cap. Work it out.

ps love the talk of PJ at half :roll:

LMFAO...So I could say the same for Inu's ball then?

:lol: Go play in the halves for a bit then tell me that...you have to be the dumbest poster on these forums tbh...You want to criticise Tim? How about learning a bit about the game he plays first :lol:

If Tim Smith had been where Inu was and passed it to Reddy you would say anybody could have done it. Tim Smith created the oppurtunity with his pass to Inu.

Your obvious bias hate of Smith has blinded you, do you actually know anything about the game?

I'm begining to wonder whether Timmy at one stage knocked back a request for an autograph for poor old Jay, either that or his dating an ex-girlfriend because the hatred towards him is beyond me.

Uh, wtf do you mean about that ffs.

Does that mean last years premiers had hacks surrounding Lockyer.
Or maybe the Tigers had di*ckwads around Prince & Marshall. Just to name the last two.

Come on great managment and coaching gets you a great team as Jack Gibson used to say.

Is Perry really a Premiership-quality halfback in your eyes?

And let's face it - the only reason the Tigers even made the Grand Final was because the Dragons choked. And the only reason they won it was because we choked. Had those two things not happened...

Yeah no one doubts his potential, but even Sterling has at times, not to mention other commentators, referred nonplussingly to his limited imagination and poor creativity close to the line. Lack of options if you will.

You’re kidding!!! Our forwards are usually equal or more dominate then their opposing forwards. Take today’s game as a perfect example. However, if you listened to the commentary they were amazed and surprised that Souths were still in it with 5 mins to go, seeing that Parra had dominated in field position and possession so convincingly.

But we could not put them away...again. So if there is nothing wrong with our forward domination, and our outside backs are some of the biggest and classiest around, then where do you think the problem lies?

It wouldn't have anything to do with the 6 & 7 would it? :crazy:

Ram you are relay proving yourself and idiot, one for agreeing with Jayjay, and second for having no understanding of the game.

Souths are a great defensive side, probably alot to do with JT. They have the fourth best defense and are second best in line breaks conceded. They struggle with creativity themselves, but are still able to hold their line well. We didn't play to our potential but we played well enough to beat them. You struggle to understand what our halves have to do with this, Timmy had a good kicking game both long and short. Finding the grass is his job now that burt isn't there. Him and Finchy were able to put good attacking kicks in to build pressure. To disregard his efforts, and blame him for a close game is disrespectful to the south side which never gave in, but also disregarding the reason we didn't score 3 more tries (i.e Inu being a hog, Fui error, and grothe error.) Also our two tries came from a finch bomb, and a Tim Smith pass, which as easy as the pass was (which isn't relay easy as it looks) was great vision.

Our halves do take wrong options, who doesn't, but god they take alot of right ones to.
