How good did he play? His defence was awesome. He must have been told his spot was on thin ice because my god the raiders felt it. He was always putting hits on. Isemonger and Dumas were always together just belting the Raiders early on.

I've never been a big fan of his but that was the best I think I've seen the Ice Man play. Good runs, great hits. I wish he would play like that every week. He was great.

Had a great game except for the two dumb penalties he gave away in a row which lead to one of the Canberra try's.

As much as i would like Galloway back he should keep his position next week.

I've bagged him for the past 5 games.

And he deserved it.

This week however, I have no qualms whatsoever in admitting that he had a great game. Even his hands were safer tonight!

Good work from the Ice man. Being named out of the 17 was obviously the kick up the arse he needed.

I agree Hulka, I bagged him all week but tonight he showed us all what he was capable of I hope he playes like this the rest of the year.
Tonight was the first time I had taken any notice of Dumas, all I can say is a star in the making

Except Dumas was a Dumb Ass when he hogged the ball in a line break early in the 1st half when he could of passed to at least three people to go over for a try.

Dumas bombed a try yes but his defence and hole running were great.

Yeah it was great to see Sammy playing up to the promise he showed about 3?? seasons ago before he had all those injuries. Got to keep him in the line up after tonight.

Unless he strings a couple of perfomances like that together he IMO is still on the slide.Albeit some injury that I (we) are unaware of.. or maybe confidence.....

Who knows?

He showed some heart tonight so maybe some of these are guys really under-done.

Last week he was totally guttless.

He better show up next week and more :x

GO YOU SHARKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isemonger and Dumas were ripping them to bits. There were moments where you could just see how much pain the Raiders were in. They were getting smashed in tackles.

Sorry Coolum but I just can't stand people bagging blokes who are really having a go after suffering through severe adversity. Sam could easily have thrown the towel in when he did the 2nd knee but didn't. He went through the painful process of rehabilitation and tonight showed that maybe it wasn't a waste of time after all. . We all know as probably he does that he wasn't setting the world on fire so let's hope that this has been the turning point of his resurgence.

Sam's had more than 2 knee reconstructions. He had one in 2002, one in 2001 and one in 2000. Don't know which knees they've been on though.

agreed sharknows, I hold my breath everytime sam gets twisted in a tackle, and that is why tonights game will do him the world of good, he ripped and teared and took em on and came away from it fully fit, confidence is the word and if sam stays fit, this is his year to make an impact in the NRL.
