So it was Luke's fault and I have been blaming the wrong guy
No Samy it is your fault
Why were you not in the stands watching the past 4 games this year getting your mug shot profile on TV
The Dragons players need to know you are there in support ....;)

One of Mary's excuses for the end of year review. Issac Luke will be one of many thrown under the bus for ANOTHER disastrous season.

St George Illawarra can today confirm Issac Luke has been released from his Dragons playing contract.

Luke joined the Dragons ahead of the current campaign and has played three NRL games while at the Red V.

The 33-year-old New Zealand representative will move to a Queensland-based NRL club with immediate effect.

"One thing that brought me to the Dragons was because of the environment that coach (Paul McGregor) has created for all of his players," Luke said.

"Coach has been nothing but supportive in all my decisions here at St George Illawarra; he has always pushed hard that no matter what the problem – good or bad – that family came first.

"I have always planned to move to Queensland post-football as my wife is from there. So when this opportunity presented itself, we thought it was the right thing to do as a family.

"I want to thank everyone at St George Illawarra Dragons for their understanding and wish the club all the best for the remainder of the season."

In light of Luke's departure, Dragons coach Paul McGregor assured media on Saturday the club was comfortable with its current hooking stocks.

"Issac came and seen me a couple of weeks, none of which concerned his and my relationship, and asked for a release," McGregor said.

"Issac knew the reason we signed him to the Dragons was to play back-up to Cameron (McInnes), which he did very well. We still have Billy Brittain, Ben Hunt can play hooker as we all know and obviously Cameron, who is already an 80-minute player."
