We had our chances but we were disappointing when it mattered to be honest.

Never much in it when it is Golden Point, but in the end a lazy attempt at conversion from Moses was coatly and ultimately the difference.

Hopgood and Hodgson having to play 80 metres isn't going to be sustainable, they were 2 of the 3 players near the play when Grant scored at the end. If they play 70 minutes do they get there to make the tackle. I suspect they do.

2009 was the last time we made the Top 8 when we lost the first game. I can see us struggling over the next few weeks to be honest without Lane and Matterson That Melbourne side isn't as good as it once was. Our bench at the moment aren't competent NRL level players.

We also gave a penalty away giving them excellent field position so it wasn’t like we had it all our way. To be honest, I think one of the biggest blunders was when Hodgson went left to Drown instead of giving Moses another shot at a field goal.
