The saying you have to lose a grand final to win one is a myth. Every grand final is a standalone game and they have nothing to do with each other. We have the playing talent to win it next year and if we do it won't be because we lost this one.

maybe indirectly the players will know what they did wrong before and what they have to do this time to correct it

Thanks for the sentiment chileman, but next year is whole other year. I'm confident we'll make the 8, but from there what form we're in, what players are available, who knows?

Maybe we'll go through the finals unbeaten, or maybe we'll be out of steam like the Dragons, Titans and Manly this year.

just saw Hindy on Sky News at the fan day and he didn't sound too confident

said he didn't know if we would be as good next year

he knows you have to take the chance when you get it as it may never happen again.

That's the hurt talking, I reckon (hope).

As a senior player, I hope he's talking it up next year.

Reading some of your responses you dead set sound like a bunch of Manly supporters after we were hammered in the 2007 GF and I can tell I sat there in the stands for the GF that year thinking that might be our only chance this decade to win one.........but don't listen to me, listen and look to your players if you believe they can do it.....I hope Manly win it next year of course and you come a distant....well I'll be nice and say 2nd last but I've watched enough footy over the 21 years I've been alive *cough cough* to see something we had the following year!

We will be a top 4 side for a few years from now on (barring many and long term injuries), a couple of premiership titles is not out of the question imo. Certainly our best propects since 2001 are coming up

We bought McFadden and Dykes for 2002, we should have known then that we had no chance!!!!!
