i know these guys have got f**k all chance of winning anything, but why were they at a nightclub to begin with? Yeah, go out to a restaurant have a drink or two, but nightclub basically means late night / drink / drugs / shit recovery. no wonder these guys got flogged if this is the mindset within the team

Absolutely. Surely he would be better than Nathan Milone. Even if he isn’t, wouldn’t the publicity it brings back in Italy be worth playing him. Why even include him in the squad if he wasn’t going to play. Why not bring a young Italian?

Yep spot on. I was thinking more about this,

He has been their biggest advocate for ages, huge recognition in Italy, does heaps of press, then comes over here and gets shunned.

I was thinking - what does this mean to him? Does he now go back and feel bitter about it all? Does he feel left out because hes not an aussie? If the answer to either of these is even partially yes then it completely undoes any benefits Ciraldo may have considered they would get from playing lower grade aussies,.

Good effort by Italy, the domestic game seems to be growing well over there. One day maybe a SL team from Italy and see more home grown players in the squad
