Manly have a demonstrated history of knowing how to win. We have....... well you know what we have.

The issue for us is that the demons from the past few years are there for all to see. We have no confidence and no killer instinct. A lot of our game was good today We dominated line breaks, metres, tackle breaks and offloads and never looked like winning. That messes with their heads. It sure has messed up the fans

It's almost like the side shows everyone, including themselves, what they can actually do but then unconsciously they realise they aren't allowed to win.

At least they all know they'll be able to go to the club tonight and still soak up the adoration of those who accept this shyte with a smile and a sunny outlook.

My biggest concern is fitness, the last 2 weeks we have looked unfit compared to our opposition.

3rd try from newcastle was a joke, and a number of fowrard passes in their second, I also thought that the newie player that caught the ball for the first try was in front of the kicker, if it was us at least they would of had a look at it, our flat passes for a try get blown by the refs. but we lost it, those passes stick in the first half and the game is over at half time, plus side is at least we are creating and carney was quiet so better to come I think.

I haven't seen the game yet but I hear the sharks got a rugged deal from the refs? I know they bombed some tries which never helps either. Losing Gibbs and Fifita wasn't much good on top of all that.

But you guys seem a bit dissapointed overall, were they that bad? Seems like they had a bit going against them.

The Knights were offside a lot, not much there either.
The Video Ref was on crack, didn't help at all.

Heads go down because no matter how hard they try they keep dishing up the same shit. The problem is mental and needs to be fixed quickly.

Newcastle were ready to be smashed today. We dominated the stats and guess what we never looked like winning. Newcastle are not a great side, quite lazy and lacking size and we made them look good.

Oh I see. It was the refs that dropped the passes, missed the tackles, didn't run into the gaps, kicked like shit, made bad onfield playing decisions, made the coaching errors, ran like wimps and started fighting amongst themselves.

It's all so clear now

FFS I understand the disappointment of losing but week after week trying to blame refs is wearing thin. They had little or nothing to do with today's loss.

The team is simply inept and it has an inept coach

Gallen overplayed in the second half because he could see nothing was working and he takes it upon himself to try something. I won't fault him for that.

Carney needs to play 5/8

Another thing I noticed at fulltime were a lot of Shark players smiling and all chatty with knight players... They should been looking totally pissed off an disapointed I would have thought.
