What does everyone think about the double movement no try

Correct call imho.

In these situations the thing to do is honestly ask yourself, if the other mob had been given the try how would you feel?

Anyway I thought the Junior Sau try was rubbish. Archer said he had "an opinion" on the grounding. There is no farkin way he would have seen the grounding, he came from way behind Sau.

Under the rules of the game, a player is allowed to strip the ball in goal and it is not a penalty. If it was tripped in the field of play, a penalty, the worst aspect would be a penalty try but they are as rare as hens teeth. No another reffing stuff up. Will Archer get a rest?

Much as I hate to say it, the ref was right. Had he just held on to the ball and bounced over fine but he did make that second movement.

Definite double movement. Arm carrying the ball hits the ground and then the ball is promoted.

Junior Sau try was ridiculous.

I thought Pom's try was a no try as well. I reckon Gardner got a touch after the boot dislodged the ball. Sympathy call.

We got some rough calls but that has nothing to do with the result. We made our own bad luck through inept handling

Not 100% correct, it goes further

If it is deemed to of been stripped in the in goal the ball carrier hasn't been deemed to of knocked on either. He is therefore entitled to enter a contest for the ball. If he grounds it first, over the line, it is a try. That's how Archer ruled and there is no video evidence apparent to refute or support it.

He was there though.

Was he stripped or did he lose control trying to force the ball down. He simply lost control. Horrible decision.

The biggest joke of the day was when they pinged Snowy in the next set just after the Junior Try was awarded.

If that wasn't a token sympathy ping then I'll stand rooting in Miranda Fair. Snowden didn't play it properly, but I have seen a million of those go undected by the pink fools.

No excuses we were sh!t but christ its going to be a long season with the whistleblowers. Upstairs and on the paddock.

Just saw the replay of Sau's effort, he dropped the farker in the tackle. I vaguely heard the Fox Guys ridiculing the decision too.

And Poms effort wasnt at try either.

My brother was watching the game at Club Marconi with a few Shark fans, they got talking after the game as to why is it that the Sharks always get the wrong call from the refs, All of them come to the conclusion that it's a conspiracy to get rid of Cronulla from the NRL... Worth talking about....

To be fair Quigs I've watched all the games this weekend and there has been over a dozen penalties for that I reckon. It's clearly a crackdown for the week and will die in the arse no doubt but I wouldn't put that penalty against Snowy down as a payback.

The Stains got done for it 3 times last night.

Sau's try was a Homer Simpson moment for the ref. What I saw on the tv news highlights confirmed that. Pom's try was a double movement but awarded to make up for the eralier stuff up and at that point in the match it wasnt gonna have any bearing on the result. Yawn.

This is why we don't have a major sponsor I'm gutted...I'm not going again.

I think fans not showing up has more to do with the lack of a sponsor than results on field.

There was a great turn out today from the fans.

Considering we have not won a game in the last 10 outings, and where we finished on the ladder in recent seasons past, may have more to do with the lack of sponsorship.

Due to these factors we don't get FTA matches.

It really was. A bit of a dud atmosphere at the ground, but big attendance on a beautiful day. Very impressed with Toyota Park and the way it was managed.

I was more referring to the multiple Sharks fans saying they'll 'never go again'.
